Better Layton Than Never!

Madi and Austin knew each other in Junior High. Austin actually went to Madi's birthday party in 8th grade and no one would be surprised by what he was wearing... Miss matched clothes with beats headphones that were not plugged in. Madi always loved how goofy and easy going he was. Austin continued to reach out to Madi on Facebook in 9th and 10th grade but they just remained friends until they ended up being in the same Spanish class together their Junior year of high school. Some of their really great friends were also in this class with them. They would flirt back and forth and aggravate each other (some things never change). Madi would never admit that she was actually interested in Austin... until he got his braces off. This is an inside joke for them as Austin has always told everyone that Madi did not give him the time of day until the day he finally got his braces off. They officially started dating on 1/1/2014 and it was quite the surprise to everyone when they started dating. Just two peas in a pod, so young but so so in love. Everyone knows that Madi and Austin have had quite the path. Their road to this point has not been easy by any means but it's super admirable and speaks volumes that through all the highs and lows they saw it through and chose one another in the end. Surprisingly enough, Madi chased Austin down for years and did not give up. I don't think she was taking no for an answer and as we all know, Austin was just playing hard to get. Madi is high strung, talks all the time, wants to be doing something at all times, major extrovert and Austin is quiet, takes a while to open up, chill and never phased. They are opposites but share so many of the same interests and passions. Madi has always said for some reason she thought that her and Austin would have a baby before getting married and here they are with their biggest blessing, Lainey Belle. Their 2 year old daughter, Lainey Belle, quite literally saved and healed them. She is a ray of sunshine and so full of life and a blessing from the big man upstairs. Life has a funny way of doing things but our Lord above knows exactly what he is doing. Madi lost her grandmother, Mammam, in 2019. Mammam was Madi's very best friend and when they found out they were having a baby girl, it felt just right naming their girl after Belle Grambow. Lainey Belle reminds them of their Mammam every single day. These two have been through it all together and have proven that their love and commitment to one another will get them through anything. Madi, Austin and Lainey Belle are so thankful for all of God's greatest blessings and we are so blessed for all of you that have been ride or die's and by our sides the past 12 years. What a roller coaster it's been but it's real, authentic, and it's us. Love, The Soon to be Laytons!
