(i) Visa – Most Internationals need an e-Visa to enter India. It’s a simple online application and we recommend to apply at least 2-3 months in advance with Passports of 6+M validity. E-Visa Link: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html
(ii) SIM Cards – You can easily pick up a local & cheap SIM (like Jio or Airtel) at Goa airport with your passport copy + visa. Alternatively, most hotels and venues have reliable Wi-Fi if you prefer using your home number on roaming.
(iii) Currency – The local currency is Indian Rupees (INR). ATMs are widely available, but we recommend carrying some cash for smaller shops and taxis. Major cards (Visa/Mastercard) are accepted at hotels, restaurants, and malls.
(iv) Payments – UPI apps (like Google Pay) are huge in India - if you can, set them up beforehand for smooth transactions.
(v) Adapters – India uses type C/D/M plugs (220V). Bring a universal adapter if needed.
(vi) Transport – Taxis and ride-hailing apps (Uber/Ola) widely used.
