(i) Visa – International guests need online e-Visa. Please apply 2-3 months ahead and make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.
You may be required to fill an e-Arrival Form within 72 hours of reaching India.

(ii) SIM Cards – Easily pick up a local & cheap SIM (like Jio or Airtel) at Goa airport with your passport copy + visa. Alternatively, most hotels and venues have reliable Wi-Fi if you prefer using your home number on roaming.
(iii) Currency – Local currency is Indian Rupees (INR). ATMs are widely available, but we recommend carrying cash for smaller shops and taxis. Major cards (Visa/Mastercard) are accepted at hotels, restaurants, and malls.
(iv) Payments – UPI apps (like Google Pay) are huge in India - if you can, set them up prior for smooth transactions.
(v) Adapters – India uses type C/D/M plugs (220V). Tip: universal adapter.
(vi) Transport – Taxis apps (Uber/Ola) widely used.
