Nick was playing cards with some of his friends. Trish was probably watching a scary movie. Both of them were scrolling through their Facebook Dating Apps. Nick swiped left. Trish swiped left. Upon realizing she had swiped left, he was a bit stunned to speak. As he continued to play cards, he told the crew - then and there - that this was probably it. From there, he looked to find out how not to mess up and lose out on a wonderful, beautiful, and strong woman of God. He noticed that she didn't mind to go on a coffee date - which worked perfectly for his schedule at the time as he was getting acquainted with his new schedule at Amazon. So then he IMMEDIATELY asked her out for a quick coffee date - and she agreed! Right before they would meet at the Starbucks on ODU's campus, Nick had extreme jitters about their first exchange. Trish had practically given up on love, but decided to give it one last try. Nick was literally praying the entire time "Please be real, Please be real, Please do NOT be a catfish!!!" Spoiler alert - she wasn't. And she was beautiful and all with her white mask on. Nick kept in contact with his friend Jordan Woodard and wouldn't shut up about her beautiful she was.
