Our journeys led us to Indianapolis, Indiana for a master's program in August of 2023. The last seat open was next to Will. Amazingly, we learned this was not the first time our paths have crossed, and we bonded over our past life as collegiate swimmers. What are the odds that we've been to the same swim meet together two separate times, while being on two different teams each time? How even slimmer the odds that we both got into a program with a class of 20 people? Our friendship grew over ice cream after Friday exams, and we officially started dating on November 10th, 2023. Working together through school and learning how to make Indianapolis our home, the Lord has continued to mold our relationship into what it is today. The final 11 months of school were made up of four-week rotations around the country. The time spent long distance solidified our relationship and we always strived to make the most of the little time we did have together. When traveling for rotations finally came to an end and it was time to be in Indianapolis full-time, Will proposed on November 8th, 2026 at Eagle Creek Park.
