Madi walked in for an HR Manager interview at 180la. As fate would have it, Eric was standing at the front desk and he was the first to greet her. Sparks immediately flew and Eric was in love... but Madi had a boyfriend :/ That wouldn't stop Eric from putting in work and stopping at Madi's desk incessantly for frequent conversations about everything other than work-related topics. Madi started to develop a little crush for Eric as well, but her relationship stood. Madi and Eric continued their friendship, and went to countless concerts, nights out, and trips to Big Deans. It was the summer of 2015, and Madi, Eric and a bunch of work pals decided to take a trip to Vegas. They danced, they laughed, and Madi FINALLY realized that Eric was the one. On Tuesday 7/7/15, Madi and Eric went to a Dodger game with the office. After the game, Madi invited Eric over to watch Jeopardy. On Eric's way out, they had their first kiss. Eric walked home dancing and smiling. He knew this was the girl he'd marry.

Less than a year into their relationship, Madi and Eric were talking about marriage. In 2018 Eric decided enough was enough, it was time to pull the trigger and get a ring. Literally 8 months before doing so, he asked Dave and Gaylene's permission to propose to Madi. For Dave and Gaylene's 30th wedding anniversary, they invited Madi, Eric, Shannon and Kyle for a trip down to New Mexico, where D&G met and got married. Eric thought this would be the perfect time and place to propose. He brought the whole fam in on the plan, and decided that a hot air balloon would be a pretty neat way to do it. It was the morning of 8/31/18 - an Albuquerque sunrise on its way. While the balloon was being blown up, Eric asked Madi if she wanted to take a pic with him inside the balloon. The whole Fam came in for the pic, and one by one, they opened up their jackets and revealed shirts that said "Madi," "Will" "You" "Marry" "Me?". She said no, and the rest of the trip was pretty awkward.

Madi and Eric have visited Palm Springs regularly throughout their relationship, and have made some pretty chill mems there. What's not to like about 116 degree weather, poolside drinks, and views for days? They visited the Avalon and were blown away. The venue is perfect and intimate and the staff is like family, which means everything to Madi & Eric. They're extremely stoked to have everyone join on this epic day(s) and hope you end up leaving this place with some super chill vibes.
