Yes. We are now having a smaller ceremony and reception with family and a few friends. For everyone that could not make it, we hope to have a BBQ in Maryland to celebrate as soon as larger gatherings are safe.
North Carolina, starting May 22 has moved into Phase 2. In short, the stay at home order is lifted, outdoor gatherings are reduced to 25 people (this excludes weddings), establishments like retail and restaurants are ordered to have max 50% capacity, and 6 feet apart with masks is required. To see exactly what that means in more detail. please see the below link: https://files.nc.gov/governor/documents/files/Phase-2-FAQ.pdf
We will be arriving Thursday, June 4th and staying through to June 13th. There is lots to see and do down there so we recommend making this a long weekend!
With our smaller ceremony in the woods please feel free to dress in more business casual/garden attire. We want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
We are planning for both to be outdoors. If it is raining we will move the ceremony to a covered pavilion and will have tents for the reception.
Kids are more than welcome!
Both locations are wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific concerns, please reach out to us, our venue has some additional ADA accommodations we can request.
Sure! But please respect our "unplugged" ceremony. We booked a fancy photographer and we promise we will share pictures! If you would like to take photos later on and share on Facebook/Instagram use #WhitewaterWhiteleathers so we can find them.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue. We will be providing a shuttle service for those staying in the surrounding area.
We do not have any blocks, but please check out our travel page for more guidance on where to stay. We love and recommend the cabin options!
