July 5th, 2020: the day our love story began. One sunny afternoon in early July, we found ourselves at a friend's house on Lake Goodwin. We spent the day sun bathing, tubing, jumping off the surf deck of the boat, swimming; all of the lake activities. Our day was full of laughter, butterflies, and the possibility of what could be. Later, as the sun set and the stars illuminated the sky, Curtis and I found ourselves talking. What started as a casual conversation, quickly turned into something deeper. We shared childhood memories, future dreams and everything in between. Hours slipped by unnoticed as we realized how naturally we connected. And, honestly, the rest was history. Curtis and I shared our first "I love you's" in Newhalem, WA on a wooden bridge overlooking a waterfall. Four and a half years later, Curtis got down on one knee in that same place and popped the big question. The years in between have been full of love & laughter and we have made countless memories together. In the last year, Curtis and I moved from Washington to Wyoming and have started to build a beautiful life together. We have two four-legged members of our family: a three-year-old Australian Shepherd, Jäger, and a seven-month-old tabby cat, Merlot. We are so excited to be taking this next big leap in getting married.
