Cider Tasting at Indigeny Reserve
Spend a few hours in an idyllic hidden valley full of apple orchards, picnic tables, and outdoor games for the whole family! Bring a picnic and enjoy an AMAZING cider tasting from our friends at Indegeny. We cannot recommend this side quest enough! Check the website for special event hours.
Columbia Historic State Park
Columbia is a historic Gold Rush town located just outside of Sonora CA, they have fun activities for kids like stagecoach rides, panning for gold, and candle making! Enjoy some delicious homemade candy from Nelson's Candy Kitchen or an old-fashioned tea at Columbia Kate's at this historic State Park.
Pinecrest Lake
Take a hike around Pinecrest Lake. This beautiful 4.5mi trail overlooks Pinecrest Lake, a very special place to Blake and Madelynn. The trail is mild to moderate in intensity but if you want an extra challenge continue your hike up to Cleo's Baths.
Pinecrest Lookout
Take a drive to the Pinecrest Lookout! Off Highway 108, turn on Herring Creek Road (4N12) and drive it all the way up. Keep going all the way past the campgrounds and up the gravel road. Turn right on 5N31 and follow it to the end. Stay right when you get to the Waterhouse Trailhead staging area near the meadow.
Twain Harte Miniature Golf
Visit Twain Harte! Twain Harte is an adorable town with shopping parks perfect for picnics and a super fun Mini Golf Course. Play 18 holes just like Madelynn did (and still does) with her family in the summertime.
Three Links Camp
Three Links is a super fun disc golf course. Bring some discs and a group of friends and enjoy scenic views and maybe a few beers at Three Links.
Dodge Ridge Disc Golf
Visit the wedding venue beforehand while you play 18 holes of disc golf at the Ponderosa course at the bottom of Dodge Ridge. (It says summer but they let you play year-round! Just bring your own discs.)
