The Flagler Museum in Palm Beach is a grand Gilded Age mansion built by Henry Flagler, where visitors can explore art, history, and architecture from America’s turn-of-the-century—and also see Flagler’s private railcar, a symbol of his role in shaping Florida’s development.
Founded in 1941 by Chicago industrialist Ralph Norton and his wife Elizabeth, the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach grew from their personal collection into South Florida’s first major art museum, now housing over 8,200 works across European, American, Chinese, Contemporary, and Photography collections.
