Summer in Minnesota tends to mean one thing… construction season. Please note that road work on Highway 210 in Brainerd is expected to begin in May 2026. We recommend planning a little extra travel time just in case! The good news is that there will be clearly marked, quick detours and the city has provided helpful alternate routes to keep everyone on track. what is the dress code for wedding day?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal attire. For the ladies, midi- or floor-length dresses. For the gentlemen, suits or sport coats with dress pants. Ties are optional and no jeans, please!

can i bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If your invitation includes a guest, their name will appear under yours when you RSVP.

are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of the two children in the wedding party. We truly appreciate your understanding, and please know that children are most welcome at the other festivities throughout the weekend!

Answer

Will there be organized transportation to and from the wedding events?

Answer

Complimentary shuttle services will be available for specific locations for both Friday and Saturday’s celebrations. Please visit the "Transportation" tab on our wedding website for full details.

Are rideshare or taxi services available in Brainerd?

Answer

Uber and Lyft are not available in the Brainerd area. The Brainerd Area Taxi (# 218-828-1111) or Ole's Shuttle Service (# 218-821-1615) would be the most reliable transportation services for individual guests and small groups. Please plan your transportation accordingly.

IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Yes! Free parking is available on-site. Overnight parking is allowed and guests can pick up their vehicle any time the next day.

what time should i arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time to find your seat. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm.

will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held indoors.

Will the ceremony and reception be held at the same location?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception spaces are both on the Northern Pacific Center campus, with a short walk outside along a paved path between the two buildings.

WHAT ARE MY DINNER OPTIONS at the reception?

Answer

A plated dinner will be served, featuring beef, fish, and vegetarian options. You will be asked to make your dinner selection when you RSVP.

HOW DO I RSVP?

Answer

Please visit the "RSVP" tab on our wedding website once you receive your formal wedding invitation. We kindly ask that you RSVP by Monday, June 22nd. We hope to get to celebrate with you!

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend the wedding, please RSVP "not attending" once you receive your formal wedding invitation.

WHAT IF I AM TRAVELING FROM OUT OF STATE?

Answer

Recommendations for travel to Brainerd: Option 1: Fly into Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). From there, you can rent a car at the airport and drive up north to Brainerd (~2.5 hr drive). Link for car rentals: https://azcars.rentals/car-rental/usa-minneapolis-airport-st-paul-international-msp Option 2: Book a Delta flight to The Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport (BRD), which typically connects through Minneapolis–Saint Paul Airport (MSP). Please note that car rentals at BRD may be limited, so we recommend booking your rental in advance to ensure availability.
