We’re getting married!

We had been staying in Council Bluffs, IA for the past three weeks for work and this day was a few days before we headed back home. We decided to go to the Omaha zoo and it was the best day. We went on the sky glider and it was so beautiful seeing all the animals underneath us. Hunter then turned to me and asked me to be his girlfriend. This was my absolute favorite day! The start of our life together.

It was the night of Christmas Eve and the happiest moment of my life. Hunter knew I had thought he was proposing on Christmas so he switched his plan and told me we were going to look at Christmas lights with my parents that night. We went to a few homes and watched their pretty lights. Lastly we went to this huge Christmas tree where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Ironically, we were wearing the same outfits we wore last Christmas Eve, which was the night he gave me my promise ring. This night was the best night of our lives!
