Chicago offers direct flights to Rome! Once in Rome, it is about a 4 hour train ride to Lucca.

Florence is a much closer option to Lucca! Most flights do require a layover somewhere in Europe. Once in Florence, it is a little over an hour train ride to Lucca.

Travel Note
If you are not staying within walking distance of the venue or renting a car, taxi pick up from the villa can be very difficult. The villa highly recommends that all taxi services are scheduled in advance. All car services are located in Lucca proper - so no matter where you are staying (5 mins away or 30 mins away) rides usually average 50-60 euro. We have numbers for all of the recommended taxi / car services and can share a list!

The hotel is walking distance from the venue. They have a limited amount of rooms so make sure to reach out ASAP if you prefer a hotel! Email them for availability - do not listen to their website!

If you are not traveling with a group and still are looking for a more rustic stay, Villa Maria Vittoria is perfect. This property is made up of multiple apartments for you to stay in. An 8 minute drive from the venue.
Travel Note
A friendly reminder that our venue is about 20 minutes outside of Lucca itself. All of the stays listed above are close to the venue. If you are willing to travel to the venue each day, we highly recommend staying in Lucca proper. Lucca is absolutely stunning and we highly recommend spending some time there! I am doing my best to keep the website up to date with places that are available to book! A lot of the places I originally shared have been booked for our weekend. If you are still looking for a place to stay that is close to the venue we recommend using VRBO.
