What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Bright and Formal! Dresses: Longer, mid-calf to floor-length dresses are preferred. Feel free to wear bright colors or big patterns to compliment the bright Sommer day! Pants: Dress pants and shirts are recommended, with the hot weather do not feel the need to wear a suit jacket! A patterned tie or bow tie is a great way to add a pop of personality, but feel free to add other personality with fun coats, shirts and socks! The more fun you have the more fun we will all have! Above all, we hope you'll embrace the joyful spirit of the day, dressing to celebrate our love in something that uniquely represents you!

What is the weather like in NC in July?

HOT! Our ceremony will be outside but there will be air conditioning for the rest of the evening!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The venue will open for guests to arrive at 2:45, we recommend that you arrive before 3:00 so you will have time to walk to the bamboo forest and find your seat!

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, there will be enough parking for everyone. However, if you are planning to drink we do recommend that you use a rideshare service to transit to the venue so that you can rely on a designated driver to take you home afterwards!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are an important part of your life and therefore, they are also an important part of ours. Feel free to bring children to the ceremony and reception!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If you invitation does not specifically invite your partner, please reach out to me! While there are limited seats available, we will try to accommodate plus ones that are coordinated sooner that 8 May 2026.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please do! When you RSVP please specify what your allergy is and how it can best be accommodated!

What if I want to send a gift?

Answer

If you would like to gift us something that is not represented on the registry, please reach out to us for a good mailing address! We really appreciate your thoughtfulness, but do not feel the need to bring a gift! The greatest gift you can give us is your presence!
