FAQs

All your questions answered in one spot.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly invite guests to dress in their Sunday best—polished, classic, and comfortable. Think tailored suits or dress shirts for gentlemen and cocktail dresses and midi dresses for ladies. Light, refined colors and garden-inspired styles are encouraged. Ladies, it would be important to note that the ceremony will be held on the golf green at Illahe. Please take this into consideration when choosing your shoes (tall/thin heels might need to sit this one out!) Please refrain from denim and white (aside from white button up shirts for men)

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the lawn at Illahe Hills. The reception will take place in the ballroom adjacent to the ceremony lawn.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love and appreciate all of our guests! To help us plan accordingly, we kindly ask that only the people listed on your invitation attend. Thank you for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones! To help us plan the day, children are welcome only if they are listed on your invitation.

Question

How do I RSVP and by when?

Answer

Guests can RSVP by using the QR code on their invitation. The code will bring you to our website and you'll be able to RSVP here for your party. We also ask RSVPs to be submitted by August 2nd, 2026 so we can give proper numbers to our vendors.

Question

What if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We do need to stick to this deadline in order to provide our final guest count to our vendors. We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone and will be thinking of you on our special day. Thank you so much for your understanding—it means a lot to us! We also kindly ask that you do not ask the bride or groom to "RSVP" for you. This is where you will pick your entree for dinner and we want to make sure you choose the dish you want!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will promptly start at 4:00PM and we love an on time production. We recommend arriving to the venue no later than 3:45PM. This will give you time to find a seat and to mingle with other guests!

Question

Can I take photos with my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve asked the wonderful Dan Rice and Aaron Cazarez to capture our day, so we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We hope you’ll relax and be present in the moment. Dan and Aaron will share our photos and videos through their websites!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is the present. If you'd like to give a gift, we are asking for donations for our honeymoon to Monterey Bay, California. We value our time and experiences together and want to be able to start our lives together with a beautiful honeymoon. Through our registry, you'll be able to donate to the whole honeymoon fund or donate to any one of our smaller funds that include things like activities, meals, rental car, etc.

Question

Is seating assigned for the reception?

Answer

Yes! Assigned seating will be crucial for the staff of Illahe to serve your chosen entree. We will have a seating chart and name cards on all the tables so you can't get lost.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Our menu will be fully catered by Illahe Hills and we personally tasted and handpicked each option. Our two entrees will consist of braised beef tips (beef that melts in your mouth, it's amazing) and Caribbean pork loin (topped with mango salsa- so delicious that the bride and groom will both be ordering this option). Your choice of entree will be served with asparagus, roasted potatoes and the Illahe Bliss salad.

Question

What if I forget which meal I chose when I RSVP'd?

Answer

Here's the best part: This will be a plated service! The bride and groom will take everyone's entree selections and match them with our seating chart to ensure that everyone is served their preferred entree.

Question

I have a dietary restriction. Who should I notify?

Answer

All of the food that will be served is gluten free. Illahe also offers us the option to switch out any of our menu choices in lieu of any vegetarians, vegans, etc. Please reach out directly to Madelyn or Will regarding any dietary restrictions and it will be taken care of for you!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

The question we get asked most and here is the answer: Beer, seltzers, and wine are on us—enjoy! Want to level up your drink? A full bar will be available for purchase, including cocktails and liquor. The bartender can accommodate to just about anything you’re craving (prices vary). Please drink responsibly and party accordingly!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Illahe has ample parking for our guests. This is the last thing we want you to worry about! Illahe also offers cars to be parked overnight if an Uber or Lyft is in your future due to celebrations!
