It was a Sunday afternoon and the weather wasn’t exactly ideal for a picnic. The kind of day when most people would be indoors, wrapped in blankets with a cup of tea or coffee and a good book. Which is what Madelyn would have much rather been doing, but Nathan was insistent on having this picnic. We found the spot and Madelyn sat to eat her lunch when it suddenly started to hail! Nervous about the change in weather, Nathan then insisted that they go down to the beach right away. Nathan led her down to the beach where he got down on one knee and asked Madelyn to marry him! Then they lived happily ever after.
