Madelyn and Kyle met in high school. The two were a part of a mutual friend group and spent their time getting to know each other, often at the Storm house. They spent their time playing games, having bonfires, and attending various events, such as marching band parades and football games. In the fall, Kyle started his freshman year at UMD. The two were able to stay connected and began dating in December 2019. The following year, Madelyn also enrolled at St. Scholastica in Duluth, and the two explored northern Minnesota, made more friends, and created countless memories. Kyle graduated and moved back home, where he found a job and commuted back and forth for some time between Chanhassen and Darwin. A year later, when Madelyn graduated, the two decided to move in together to Hopkins that Spring. In June, Madelyn began her job as well. Since then, the two have settled down in Chaska. Madelyn and Kyle have been able to continue finding new hobbies, make more connections with wonderful people, and have enjoyed getting to know, learn, and grow with one another. In September 2025, Kyle and Madelyn went back to Duluth to see the fall colors, something they both enjoyed doing during school. Making their way up the North Shore Kyle proposed at Split Rock Lighthouse on Lake Superior. As you can probably guess, she said yes! Which brings us to now. Thank you for any piece you may have played in our lives. We love and appreciate each of you and cannot wait to celebrate this next step of our journey together!
