Jackson and Maddie were brought together by a little persistence and a well-timed basketball tournament. Their mutual friend, Addison, also a bridesmaid, had been trying for weeks to get Maddie to come to a Henderson football game and meet Jackson. Eventually, Addison’s efforts paid off when she convinced Maddie to attend the CRC basketball tournament in York, Nebraska. As fate would have it, Jackson “just so happened” to be there too. The two hit it off immediately and shared a phone call later that night that lasted until 3 a.m., despite Maddie having a basketball game the next day in Grand Island. Jackson showed up to cheer her on, and that night they went on their first date. They’ve been inseparable ever since, and now, the rest is history!
