This Point of View (POV) is from Madelyn. Evan and I had classes all along, but it wasn't until the class "Construction Estimating" in fall of 2019 where we really hit it off. Fortunately for him, I sat right across from him in the classroom where I could sneak looks at him when he wasn't paying attention. Well, eventually I noticed he went to lunch with my friend Paul, so I started tagging along with Paul with intentions on getting to know this Evan guy more. I would even act like I needed help in the class to talk to him. Time goes on. I was really involved with a campus organization and I organized a volunteer day with Habitat for Humanity, so I asked him if he would join. He said he would and I got his number. He told me that him and his friends were hanging out on campus the night before and I should call him if I wanted to join. Well, the day OF I had an interview for an internship in Indy and my sister Leah agreed to drive me to it. The ENTIRE drive there and back I contemplated and heavily discussed it with Leah about calling him or texting him. After much evaluation, I decided to call him (even though I hated phone calls at the time). We hung out that night and volunteered the next day, and the rest has literally been history.
