Doors open at 3:30 Ceremony begins at 4:30

I met Devon at the most beautiful time. I walked into Mernards with my mom to get some things for my new apartment. She told me to grab a cart. I tried with all my might to pull the cart from the rest but it wasn’t budging. I pulled with all my strength and nothing. Next thing I know a handsome man came up behind me asking if I needed help. I was so embarrassed. Devon lifted up the cart and pulled it out like it was nothing. Mortified I walked away with my mom. Of course she saw the whole thing and was laughing. She told me that he was cute and I agreed. Fast forward to the beginning of the fall semester I started my job at the college restaurant I recognized Devon right away. I was sacred to talk to him for a while thinking all he would think is haha it’s that girl that looked like an idiot trying to get the cart out. Eventually I did work up the nerve to talk to him and I remember it just being so easy and we shared a lot of laughs at work. Eventually we hung out outside of work and on 11/20/20 he finally asked me to be his girlfriend. Since then we have been the best team. We have made thousands of memories that are so special to me. I have never felt a level of connectedness to a person. I feel so safe and loved by him. He brings the biggest smile to my face. I can’t wait to marry my best friend. I’ll see you at the alter baby to continue our journey! I’ll love you forever

I met Maddie while I was working at Menards. Her and her mom came in and Maddie couldn’t get the shopping cart’s undone and I thought to myself “I’ll go help this girl, just because she’s beautiful,” if it was anyone else I probably wouldn’t have helped, but after that day I wasn’t sure I was going to ever see her again, until college started back up in the fall of 2020. Maddie and I both worked together at the Keeter Center Restaurant. Maddie was a server and I was a server in training. We had a couple shifts together throughout the week and we got closer since we worked together. We went and hung out a couple times but it wasn’t until November where things really took off. I had to work the thanksgiving work week at the college and Maddie was flying home to see her family for thanksgiving so we hung out the last night before she had to leave, and as we were hanging out she said to me “ I’m sorry you have to work this week, I wish there was a way I could make your week go well” and then I responded “ I would have the most amazing week, if you would be my girlfriend” and from that day November 20, 2020 we started dating and then that led to an engagement almost 3 years later and now a wedding a year after that! I can’t wait to share the special day with you, and October 5, 2024 is going to be the best day of my life! I love you babies!!
