Cameron and Madelyn first met during our freshman year of high school at a CBHS football game. Since Madelyn and her friends went to an all-girls school, they made a habit of meeting as many new people as possible whenever they went to the games. One evening, Madelyn spotted Cameron in the crowd and decided to introduce herself. She tapped him on the shoulder, but when he turned around, she froze. In her nervousness, she awkwardly gave him a wink. To her surprise, Cameron smiled and winked back. Madelyn was mortified, but her friends assured her it would be fine—after all, they’d probably never have to see him again. As they were leaving the game, Madelyn’s friend’s brother called out, “Hey, wait up! I want you to meet my new friend—this is Cameron Moss.” And just like that, their story began. Madelyn and Cameron almost instantly became inseparable. For over a year, they both denied being anything other than friends. That was until one night at a Moon Taxi concert with their friend group. When the concert ended, Cameron insisted on taking Madelyn home. Madelyn felt nervous because she was starting to realize that they were most definitely more than "just friends." Her girls encouraged her to get in the car, and, still a little unsure, she did. As they sat there, Madelyn nervously rambled on, but before she knew it, Cameron leaned over and kissed her. From that moment on, they both knew they had found just what they needed. And the rest is history. At just 16 years old, they realized they were destined for a beautiful life together, filled with amazing friends and family and so many memories to come.
