On a hot day in August 2019, Levi was at a Tedeschi Trucks Band concert in Raleigh, NC. During tailgating, Levi was introduced to a friend’s friend, Ben, and his wife, Lacy. Little did Levi know, that would be the introduction of a lifetime. They all chatted and exchanged contact information without thinking anything about it. The following night, Levi was at another live music event and low and behold, he ran into the same couple from the previous night – Lacy and Ben. He didn’t think too much of it until about a month later when Ben texted Levi asking if he would be interested in joining him and Lacy for a blind double date with Lacy’s sister, Madelyn. Levi had never been on a blind date before, and he didn’t necessarily know these people that well, but he likes having a good time so he said "why not!" They hit it off. Although Levi lived in Raleigh and Madelyn in Wilmington at the time, they couldn’t get enough of each other and were back and forth for the first 6 months of their relationship. Then March of 2020 came and the pandemic had arrived. Levi then decided to go and “quarantine” with his new sweetheart in Wilmington for what he thought would be a few weeks; maybe a month at most… 3 months later, Levi permanently moved to Wilmington and the two made memories along with both of their families at the beach for a couple of years. In October of 2021, Levi proposed to Madelyn during a river weekend getaway they had planned many months prior. Levi was a nervous wreck, but was able to keep it together enough to surprise Madelyn. After 2 incredibly wonderful years in Wilmington, they decided they wanted to move to the Raleigh-Durham surrounding area and start their new chapter of life together on a quiet piece of property. They were able to purchase a home together just outside in a small town named Stem, NC in February 2022. We are so excited to celebrate our love story with family and friends to end the year!
