Grab a coffee and spend a leisurely hour perusing the shelves of our favorite book store. If you have time you can hit up Twist & Shout next door for music!
Best breakfast and the tastiest pastries
One of our favorite hikes! Be warned-- this is a 3-4 hour hike with lots of elevation and not a lot of shade. Be sure to get there by 9am at the latest and bring lots of water! It IS gorgeous though!
Another great hike! Less crowds here than other places. This one is a 5.5 mile loop, again be sure to head out early in the day to avoid the hot sun, and make sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen!
1400 + 1500 blocks of South Pearl Street (between Iowa and Arkansas) Sundays: 9am–1pm (before the BBQ) Live music, tasty foods! Be prepared for crowds. Remember to bring water and sunscreen!
Okay, this Sweet Cow location is at the Stanley Marketplace, which is a fun mall situation with a beer garden, outdoor park, and lots of cute shops. Sweet Cow has several locations and is Sarah's favorite ice cream in Denver. Highly recommend!
If you get the opportunity to see a show here, do it! (Make sure to sign up for the pre-sale list or else getting tickets is a challenge!) Otherwise, this is a great place to hike around and see views, especially if the other two hiking recs are too intimidating or are too long for your trip.
Free, family friendly concerts all summer long! Check out the website for more details.
