We're getting married!!!

I saw the cutest guy on Bumble and took a chance and swiped right… match! It came to be, we weren’t just a match, but a perfect match. Our first date was a cold Friday night at Stovehouse—Ben walked up, and he was so tall and handsome. I felt so comfortable with him right away; I could be myself and never felt judged. Our first five dates were… an adventure, to say the least: Ben’s car got hit by a deer, we braved a trip to Nashville, and one date at a completely comical location. But after the fifth date, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I knew it was meant to be. Since then, we’ve shared so many adventures together, from my favorite trip to Colorado to trips to Dallas, Austin, Nashville, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Jacksonville, The Lake, Dothan, PCB, and Orlando. Every moment with Ben makes me feel safe, excited, and totally lucky to have found my person. We try to make the most out of life on every trip, laughing, exploring, and turning ordinary weekends into unforgettable memories. I can’t wait for our next—and most important—adventure: marriage, and all the memories we’ll continue to make together.

I was scrolling through Bumble when I came across the most stunning woman with the such captivating, beautiful eyes. Even though I was convinced she was out of my league, I swiped right anyway… To my surprise, she swiped back! After some way-better-than-normal conversations for a dating app, and a week-long wait for the Thanksgiving holiday to pass, I finally asked her on a date to Stovehouse. I showed up incredibly nervous, and seeing her in person for the first time left me completely starstruck. I knew she was someone special a few moments later when she jokingly asked if my last name was 'Dover'. That feeling was only confirmed fifteen minutes later when she serenaded me with her Minecraft parody. The date was a little awkward but undeniably fun, so shortly after, I took a leap and invited her to Nashville to see a re-release of my favorite movie. After she did a few 'safety checks' to make sure I wasn't a serial killer, she accepted! That long, anything-but-boring drive was the moment I realized we were meant to be. Over the next year, through so many amazing vacations and countless memories, I fell deeper in love and realized I wanted nothing more than to marry her. I got the ring, made dinner plans overlooking the city on Monte Sano, and popped the question. I was beyond elated when she said yes! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with this extraordinary woman, and we are both so excited to share this momentous occasion with all of you.
