Freshman year at UGA, Madeline and Zach both attended a roller skating social hosted by his fraternity, BYX. There was only one problem — neither could skate. They tried to learn, but both gave up shortly into the night. However, it didn't matter that they hung up their skates, because they ended up sitting at the same table. The two talked the rest of the event, bonding over their lack of skating skills. They kept in touch after the event, having weekly "date nights" at dining halls. Before the end of their first semester in college, Zach asked Madeline to be his girlfriend. She said yes. Their relationship was built on common interests, faith and morals. Their love grew roots. Five years later, Zach asked Madeline to be his wife. She said yes again. They can't wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
