Things To Do

Burlington Farmers Market

345 Pine Street, Burlington, VT 05401

A fun little famers market with a vintage flea market next door. Lovely little representation of some amazing food and artisans in Vermont.

Old Brick Store

290 Ferry Road, Charlotte, VT 05445

A cute country store with a lot of charm. Perfect if you are looking to take a little ride out of Burlington and see some more of the state. Great coffee, pastries, and sandwiches.

Deep City Brunch

112 Lake Street, Burlington, VT 05401

No reservations, arguably the best sit down breakfast in town. If you are looking for a relaxing morning and want to stay close to Hotel Champlain, this is the place.

The Grey Jay

135 Pearl Street, Burlington, VT 05401

Great for a bite to eat after walking down Church Street.

Henry Street Deli Mart

11 Henry Street, Burlington, VT 05401

Laid back spot with good coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

Poppy Cafe & Market

88 Oak Street, Burlington, VT 05401

Delicious sandwiches in the Old North End. Can't recommend them enough!

Rock Point Trail Loop

9 Rock Point Road, Burlington, VT 05408

Great for a little hike by the lake. Low elevation change and easy parking make this an easy way to get out and stretch your legs.

Red Rocks Park

4 Central Avenue, South Burlington, VT 05403

A little bit outside of Burlington proper. A great park with access to swimming and hiking. It's hard to beat hanging out here on a nice summer day.

Church Street Marketplace

149 Church Street, Burlington, VT 05401

Iconic pedestrian mall in the center of Burlington. Food, drinks, shopping, and some live music all in one place, perfect for whiling away a few hours.

Bike Path

257 North Winooski Avenue, Burlington, VT 05401

Grab a bike and head down the hill from Hotel Champlain, I recommend going left on the path but either direction is fun. The path is flat and well paved making it fair game for cyclists of any level. You will pass a few beaches and Rock Point Loop. The bike path is one of our favorite parts of Burlington.
