Tony and Maddie met the old fashioned way, on a dating app! They matched on Bumble in October 2017 and first bonded over WSU and WSU football. They learned that they had many mutual friends and even lived across the street from each other at some point during college. Later they learned of their shared love of Disney, which played a major role in their relationship :) Tony and Maddie's first date was at Grappa, a Mediterranean restaurant in Queen Anne. Maddie was unhappy with her order (a recurring theme) and when Tony offered her a bite of his meal, she jumped at the opportunity. Tony was impressed with her boldness and her unapologetically being herself. Maddie was taken by his sense of humor and generosity. They were inseparable ever since.

Just shy of their four and a half year anniversary, they were in California for a friends wedding. They had an extra day in Anaheim and planned a day at Disneyland. Tony got down on one knee in front of the castle. Maddie was so surprised and excited, it was the easiest YES she'd ever had! They spent the rest of the day at the park, soaking in all the excitement and love. They are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of their lives with you.
