FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for both the ceremony and reception. While overnight parking isn't permitted and ride-share availability can be limited, we've arranged convenient shuttle service to our recommended hotel block to make your arrival and departure as seamless as possible.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue by 4:15pm. This will give you ample time to find your seat, check in with ushers, and get comfortable before our 4:30pm ceremony begins. Detailed shuttle information will be shared with guests in the weeks leading up to the wedding.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Absolutely! You'll find our curated hotel recommendations on the travel page of our website.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

On Saturday, May 1st, we'll provide shuttle service from the four recommended local hotels to the wedding venue and back. At the end of the evening, a shuttle will also be available to transport guests directly to our after-party at the Jetty. The Kent Island hotels (the Best Western, Hyatt, and Hilton) are within walking distance of each other and of the Jetty. We'll share the detailed shuttle schedule as the wedding date approaches. Please note that rideshare options are quite limited on Kent Island, so we encourage you to take advantage of our provided transportation.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

Once you get your formal invitation in the mail, please respond via the RSVP page on this website, no later than Month Day, 2027.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, let us know your dietary needs when you RSVP, and we'll make sure you have a safe and enjoyable meal.

Question

Do I need an EZ-Pass if I’m driving?

Answer

Many highways and bridges near the venue use cashless tolling. We recommend bringing your EZ-Pass for the smoothest travel experience and to avoid delays. If you don't have one, tolls will be automatically billed to your license plate (toll-by-plate), though this method can take longer to process and may include additional fees.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture our day, and we promise to share those photos with you! We ask that you turn off all devices during the ceremony and enjoy the moment with us.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Show us your style! Formal cocktail attire requested. Suits or sport coats with a tie for men, and cocktail dresses or dressy separates for women. Bayside evenings can be cool, so bringing a light jacket or shawl is recommended.

Question

Do I need my ID?

Answer

We recommend bringing a valid ID, as our bartenders may card guests at the Beach Club or at the after-party.
