Are my children invited to attend?

Our wedding and reception will be an adults-only celebration, designed to give all our guests a night of fun and dancing. We appreciate your understanding!

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to allow ample time for parking and to be comfortably seated before the celebration begins. Complimentary valet service will be available at the top of the circle drive at the gated entrance to River Oaks Country Club. Once inside, you’ll find the ceremony space straight ahead.

May I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

In accordance with River Oaks Country Club policy, cell phone use for photos and videos during wedding ceremonies is strictly prohibited except by our contracted professionals. Please refrain from using your phone during the ceremony. Please feel free to take photos and videos during cocktail hour and the reception.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. We kindly request evening gowns or cocktail dresses for women (no white, cream or ivory, please); suits or tuxedos for men. In keeping with the club’s dress code for formal events, no jeans, t-shirts, polo shirts, hats, or tennis shoes. The ceremony, dinner, and dancing will be held indoors, with cocktail hour and portions of the reception on an enclosed, climate-controlled patio.

If I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We are happy to provide vegetarian meals for any guests who request one on your RSVP.

What are my options for parking?

Answer

Complimentary valet parking will be available for all guests driving to the event. Upon arrival, the security guard at the gated entrance will direct you to the valet at the top of the circle drive. Guests arriving by ride share should also enter through the main gate and will be dropped off in the valet circle.
