Best Man
I met Jon my freshman year of college and as cheesy as it sounds, we have been inseparable ever since. He lives a state away, but sometimes I feel like I see him every week still. Honest, loyal, generous, and dependable are just a few words to describe Jon. The amount of inside jokes and memories we share are countless, and I look forward to vacations with our families for the rest of our lives.
Matron of Honor
Lyd is my cousin and has been my built in best friend and sister my whole life. She is someone who has loved and supported me always, through every crazy part of life. Even though I’m older, I’ve always looked up to Lydia and admired her. She is beautiful inside and out, and can make me laugh even on the rainiest days.
Best Man
While sometimes it feels like I’m more of your caretaker as opposed to one of your best friends, I still look forward to every time we are together. There truly is no person who keeps me more on my toes than Jordan. Nobody lets their intrusive thoughts win more than Jordan, but I wouldn’t want him to be any other way. Jordan has an enormous heart and once he opens up and shows you love, you’re stuck with him. I just wish he was a Browns fan.
Maid of Honor
I met Lex in kindergarten and we never stopped being friends. Then one day in high school, when she drove me around all day everyday because I got my license late, we came to the realization that we were best friends and nothing was going to change that. She’s been my soulmate best friend ever since, and now is besties with Steve, too.
Groomsman
I’ve known Brett since he was a middle schooler and I was coaching him at CVCA basketball camps. Everything really does come full circle. Im now marrying his cousin, he lives with me, and he can kick my butt in basketball. There is never a dull moment when me and Brett are together. Whether we are watching sports in our loft, or golfing together. I truly never know what is going to come out of his mouth next. A true wildcard, who I’m so thankful that I can officially call family.
Bridesmaid
Kels has been one of my best friends and my roommate for the past five years. She basically became part of my family, and when I began dating Steve, he and Kelsey quickly became best friends as well. Words could never describe how much Kelsey means to us. To put it simply, she has become our family and we love her so very much.
Groomsman
One of my first friends since junior high. Chris played the French horn and I played the drums in band. You could say we were kind of a big deal. I’ve known Chris for well over 10 years and we have countless memories together. If there is one word I think of when it comes to Chris, it’s dependable. If he says something is going to happen, it happens. Chris is like a brother to me in a lot of ways, and since I don’t have a biological brother, I suppose Chris will do.
Bridesmaid
Cece has been my built in little sister since the day she was born. While we’re actually cousins, us and our siblings spent nearly everyday hanging out and swimming together. She and her family have become such a solid and supportive part of my life, and I’m so thankful to call them my family.
Groomsman
The ginger general! I’ve known Kyle for quite some time and I feel very lucky for that to be the case. He is a very intentional friend, he always asks you how you are, never puts himself first, and loves everyone for who they are. There might only be one person on the planet who loves wing warehouse more than me…and it would be Kyle. Kyle’s biggest flaw is that he hasn’t lived in Ohio for about 8 years now so I’d love for that to change.
Bridesmaid
Faith and I lived together in college, where studying late and lack of sleep helped us bond into bestie-roommates who continued being just as close even after college ended. Faith has always been a supportive, encouraging, and thoughtful friend, and college would have been a lot harder without her making me laugh every time a class made me want to cry.
Groomsman
There’s nobodies couch I would have rather slept on when I lived in Kent! My favorite thing about Cam is that he’s a bit shy at first, but once you get to know him, he’s one of the most fun people there is to be around. Cam embodies what it means to be a good friend. He is loyal, dependable, thoughtful, caring, and encouraging. Im so glad he moved back from Dallas and is now apart of the greatest men’s softball team in Ohio.
Bridesmaid
Sarah was literally the girl next-door when I was growing up. When she came home from the hospital as a baby, I went over to meet her. Since then, she has always been a sweet and loving friend, and growing up, we shared a similar adventurous spirit. We spent our days hiking in the woods, exploring the lake, and climbing trees. While our brothers were in the yard playing football, you could find us literally up a tree every summer day.
Groomsman
Indiana isn’t good for much but I have met some of my very best friends there. It’s hard to find a person who has a bigger heart than Brandon. Brandon loves and cares unconditionally and just so happens to be the greatest “Co-commissioner” I could ask for in our dynasty fantasy football league. He is also a great example of what a husband should be, and leads by example in all areas of his life.
Bridesmaid
Brooke is my future sister-in-law, and Steven’s sister. She has made me feel so welcome and loved in her family since the day I met her. We both share a love of horror movies, and enjoy spending time together doing everything from escape rooms to painting to heckling Steve.
Groomsman
From being my first basemen in high school, to my roommate for a stint in college. I’ve known Matt for many different seasons of life. He lives his life with a constant joy, love, and selflesslessness. Matt also has one of the most contagious laughs you will ever hear. You always know when you’re in a room with Matt because Nikki Minaj will be playing. Also…kind of an important detail…Matt is the reason Maddie and I are getting married, as he introduced us to each other my sophomore year of college
Bridesmaid
Hannah has been one of my most favorite people since before I can remember. Our moms (and dads) are besties, and planned for us to follow in their footsteps. In a home video from the day I was born, Hannah’s mom is pregnant with her and comes into my mom’s hospital room, picks up my newborn self, and rests me on her baby bump. She says, “Madeline Louise, meet Hannah Rebecca. I have a feeling you two are going to be best friends.”
Groomsman
My fellow Bible Scholar! Early on in our junior high careers, we dubbed each other “Bible Scholars” because we would answer all the questions in Bible class together! Brooks went on to graduate from seminary and lives his life as a true testimony of what it means to be a Godly husband and friend. He is the type of role model that I wish every man can personally find. However…he is a Pittsburgh fan. So I take back everything I said.
Bridesmaid
I met Hailey one summer, and she instantly became one of my favorite people to hang out with. Her sense of humor always keeps me laughing, and her thoughtfulness was one of the first things I noticed about her. Since then, we have enjoyed planning trips and adventures for our friend group, and love to explore new places and try new things together.
Groomsman
One of my earliest friends in junior high and one of the funniest people I know. Whether we are arguing about sports takes, or playing softball together, I know I can always count on Jake to be honest and fun. One of the most genuine and kind hearted people I have ever met. Im so thankful that I’ve known Jake for as long as I have. Jake, Brett and I lived together for a year before Jake got married and that was an experience I will never forget. Froomies for life.
Bridesmaid
Kattie and I met through mutual friends in college, where we began our friendship. Kattie is one of the most intentional people I know, and has always made me feel so loved. Her desires to love others well and do good in the world are inspirational. I have truly never met someone I admire the way I do Kattie, and I’m so thankful we ended up becoming friends over our last few years at Kent.
