It took the perfect amount of "right choices" to bring Senne and Madeline together. When Madeline moved to Fort Collins, she picked a city on a map that was 8 hours from her parents and 8 hours from her sister, and moved, sight unseen. She took the first job she found and started serving beer at one of Fort Collins' many breweries. Senne moved from Belgium to Atlanta, and then to FoCo for a job at CSU in Atmospheric Science. He joined running clubs to meet people and ended up meeting his future wife. Not running, of course, she's pouring his beer. It was a slow start; Senne was never sure if she was being nice to him for tips or if she was truly interested. Finally, after many weeks of Tuesday run clubs and trivia Thursdays, one night Madeline hugged him TWICE, and he knew, "this isn't about the 20% gratuity". The rest is a beautiful, beer-filled, adventure-heavy, and exciting journey to here, our wedding day. Thank you all for celebrating with us!
