Madeline & Seiler

Seiler and Madeline first connected on a dating app at the beginning of their senior year in college. It was at their first date at International Tap House that Madeline thought, "he's so cute, I can't believe I am getting to go on a date with him!" They continued to date throughout their last year of college and once covid hit, Seiler moved back to Dallas and Madeline stayed in Columbia to teach middle school. Throughout their year of long-distance, they continued to fall in love. After Madeline's first year of teaching, she moved down to Dallas where at the time she denied it was for Seiler but now she will admit it happily. In early summer of 2023, they travelled to Europe visiting Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Croatia. It was on a hike in the Czech Republic where Seiler broke his toe and worried that it ruin his secret plan for the end of the trip. But he persisted and proposed to Madeline on one of their last days abroad in the small hill town of Motovun, Croatia.
