Hike or drive up to the top of the volcano for a beautiful view of Lake Nicaragua and the surrounding area.

Mombacho Volcano National Preserve

Take a boat tour around these beautiful volcanic islands.  You can see wildlife like monkeys on your tour. There are even restaurants on some of the islands.

Isletas of Lake Nicaragua

A volcanic crater lake. You can swim and kayak here in the nice, clear water.
