Working temporarily in Seattle, Washington, Peyton and Madeline met by chance through their jobs in politics and have been together since shortly thereafter. Madeline is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Milford, Connecticut, while Peyton grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, which makes their chance meeting in Seattle nothing short of fate. Now in Omaha, Nebraska, Peyton and Madeline's relationship has touched both coasts and ultimately settled in the midwest where they live with their two hounds: Moose the Bernedoodle, and Junior the Greyhound.
