FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you reply with your response for all wedding weekend events, inclusive of meal selection and dietary restrictions by August 22nd. You will find the RSVP page available on our wedding website where these selections and responses can be submitted.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3pm on the dot. To ensure we are able to start on time, we ask that all guests arrive at the church no later than 2:45 to ensure you are seated before 3pm.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, all wedding events inclusive of the ceremony and reception are adult only. We hope that you can treat the day away from your children as a special date night if you are able to celebrate with us in person.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, you can refer to the Travel tab for a few recommendations of hotel alternatives in the area outside of Wequassett. Should you wish to have more space for your group outside of a standard hotel option for example, there are also great AirBnB or VRBO alternatives in the greater Brewster, Chatham, Harwich and Dennis areas.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be offering transportation between Wequassett and the Immaculate Conception Chapel preceding and following the ceremony. Please note that all other official wedding events aside from the ceremony will be taking place on Wequassett grounds. If you do plan on utilizing the transportation to and from the ceremony, we ask that you make this selection within your RSVP so we can accommodate all parties who would like to utilize the transportation service.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available within the lot behind the Immaculate Conception Chapel should you forego the trolley service to and from the ceremony. There is also parking available on site at Wequassett. Should you be concerned about parking or driving following the reception, we have found sufficient availability on Lyft and Uber in the general area, even off season (in January for example) so you should have no issues in October.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black-tie optional. We ask that you wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Alternatively, an evening gown, midi- or knee-length cocktail dress would be appropriate.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to spatial restrictions we are only able to accommodate the guests clearly listed on your invitation.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, within the physical invite you received you can reference the "Schedule of Events" which is inclusive of a Welcome Party on Friday, 10/10 and a Post Wedding Breakfast on Sunday, 10/12. These details can also be found on the Schedule page of our website. We do also ask that when submitting your RSVP, you let us know if you will be able to attend these events as well as the ceremony and reception on Wedding Day.

Question

Will there be food served at the Welcome Party?

Answer

We will be serving light Hors d'oeuvres at the Welcome Party on Friday, 10/10. With that in mind, we do recommend having dinner before joining us on Friday evening if your schedule allows. We hope to see you there!

For all the days along the way
