FAQs

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony so everyone can figure out parking and seating before the ceremony begins.

Question

What are the Ceremony & Reception Addresses?

Answer

Ceremony will be at Mountain Plain Baptist Church: 4281 Old Three Notch'd Road Charlottesville, VA 22901 Reception will be at the Hutchins' home: 4948 Long Meadow Lane Crozet, VA 22932

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semi-formal, and we encourage guests to wear light, spring-inspired colors. For women, appropriate attire includes midi or cocktail dresses. We kindly ask that women do not wear white, black, red, or sage green (bridesmaids color) dresses. Instead, consider soft spring tones such as blush pink, dusty blue, soft yellow, peach, periwinkle, as well as floral patterns. These colors are only suggestions that do not need to be adhered to :) For men, semi-formal attire includes dress slacks or chinos with a collared button-down shirt, with a blazer (optional). Dress shoes or loafers are recommended. Please avoid black or red shirts. Suggested shirt colors include white, light blue, pale pink, soft lavender, cream, or light gray. Just as the women, these colors are only suggestions that do not need to be adhered to :)

Question

Will the Wedding be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony will be indoors but reception will be outdoors (we recommend shoes that can be worn on grass).

Question

Will There be Food or Alcohol?

Answer

We will be serving a variety of appetizers and finger foods, including items such as kabobs, for guests to enjoy throughout the celebration. Alcoholic beverages will be available in self-serve containers for guests who would like to enjoy a drink. There will also be non-alcoholic options (water, iced tea, lemonade, and soda).

Question
