FAQs

Essential information about the wedding celebration is below. If you have further questions, please contact the Bride and Groom. We are thrilled to celebrate with you!
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please be seated by 5:45pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm in the Crystal Room with doors opening at 5:30pm. Seating is open with no designated Bride or Groom's side. The Round Robin Bar will be open if you'd like to arrive early and grab a drink prior to the festivities. The ceremony will be followed by cocktails in the lower-level area adjacent to the Grand Ballroom with the reception taking place in the Grand Ballroom. Our wedding celebration will be entirely indoors. šŸ„‚

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. Women should wear long dresses and men should wear dark suits with ties. We can't wait to see everyone in their finest. Please be sure to bring your dancing shoes! šŸ’ƒ šŸ•ŗ

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

A dedicated RSVP section is available on the website menu. Due to strict space and capacity limitations, we can only accommodate specific guests whose names are listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding. āœ‰ļø

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Valet parking is available for a fee at the Willard and JW Marriott hotels. The Residence Inn provides off-site parking, also for a fee. Alternatively, there are multiple garages with evening and overnight parking that can be pre-booked for reasonable rates via apps such as SpotHero and ParkWhiz with a short walk to the Willard Hotel. Due to the Capital Pride Parade on the day of the wedding, parking will not be available at the Willard and JW Marriott hotels since 14th street will be closed from 3pm that day. Please use the parking apps suggested above for alternate garages. 🚘

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction or allergy?

Answer

Please provide this information when you RSVP so that we can share it with the catering staff. 🦐

Question

Do you have hotel blocks for guests?

Answer

We have three hotel blocks for our guests. The room block rates are only valid for the Friday and Saturday of the wedding weekend. Regular rates apply for dates outside of this window. Space is limited but there are plenty of other hotels and Airbnb rental options nearby. You'll find hotel links in the travel section with room rates as follows: The Willard InterContinental Hotel is $349 per night. Although a $35 amenities fee is added during booking, this fee will be waived upon checkout of the hotel during the wedding weekend. The JW Marriott is $314 per night ($279 plus $35 destination fee). We recommend taking advantage of the daily amenities associated with the destination fee. The Residence Inn by Marriott is $179 per night. šŸ›Žļø
