Birch Aquarium at Scripps is the public exploration center for Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego. Perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Birch Aquarium features the groundbreaking work of Scripps Oceanography.
A cute little town connecting La Jolla and Pacific Beach, great for bike riding on the bike path and yummy restaurants. Fun fact, Mark met Maddie's parents for the first time in Bird Rock!

La Jolla Cove is a small cove with a beach that is surrounded by cliffs in La Jolla. The area is protected as part of a marine reserve and is popular with snorkelers, swimmers and scuba divers.
This has quickly become one of Maddie's families' favorite breakfast and brunch spots and even better it is right across the street from the church!

This is where Maddie met Mark and all the other Chatham hooligans maaany years ago. We continued to live here in a few different apartments before we made the move out east. There are a bunch of fun bars and restaurants to enjoy by day or night!
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve is a wilderness island in an urban sea. This fragile environment is the home of our nation's rarest pine tree. We love to go for a fun and easy hike and then get lunch afterwards.
One of the popular surf spots and beaches around town. If you take a stroll north, past Scripps Pier, you'll see the spot where Mark popped the big question. And if you peek around the area, you might be able to spot the venue for the reception celebration!
The USS Midway Museum is a historical naval aircraft carrier museum located in downtown. The ship houses an extensive collection of aircraft, many of which were built in Southern California.
This is an iconic and special beach that Maddie grew up going to with family and friends for beach days and sunset dips. This is also one of Jet's favorite places ;)
