What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:00 p.m. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to the start time. It will be held in the Pinecrest Wedding Chapel.

Where is the Chapel?

Answer

Please note that while The Historic Pinecrest Event Center and Pinecrest Chapel share the same address, they are separate buildings. Your arrival at the provided address will bring you directly to the Historic Event Center, where the reception will be held and where parking is available. The Chapel does not have parking facilities, it is just a short walk from the event center. However, a golf cart will be available to transport guests for those who need assistance.

Pinecrest provides designated onsite parking exclusively at the Historic Pinecrest Event Center. Please note that parking is not permitted on Pinecrest Way or overnight at the Pinecrest Chapel.

What will the weather be like?

As autumn settles in Colorado, temperatures can be quite chilly. While we can't predict the exact weather, average temperatures typically range from a high of 47°F to a low of 21°F. Rest assured, both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held indoors for your comfort.

Cocktail hour and Dinner?

During cocktail hour, we will offer a selection of appetizers that cater to gluten-free and vegetarian diets. Additionally, our dinner service will include options to accommodate any gluten-free or vegetarian preferences.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception ends at 9:00 p.m. due to neighborhood noise ordinances. The bar will stop serving alcoholic beverages 45 minutes before the reception ends.

Can I take photos?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional wedding photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony. However, please feel free to take and share as many photos as you want at the reception!

Answer

Numerous Airbnb options are available in and around Palmer Lake, Monument, and Colorado Springs. Additionally, several hotels are conveniently located near Monument and Colorado Springs. For those willing to travel a bit further, Castle Rock is approximately 30 minutes from the wedding venue and offers a variety of hotel accommodations.
