Hello everyone! Due to COVID-19 we are planning to continue with the wedding at a smaller size. This being said, if an RSVP is not received by July 11, 2020 we will assume a regretful decline to our ceremony and reception. For those who are joining us, please social distance whenever possible and DO NOT ATTEND if you (or someone you live with) are showing ANY symptoms of COVID-19. At the wedding there will be plenty of hand sanitizer, disposable glassware at the bar, dining tables will be large allowing for guests to spread out, the dinner buffet will be served by the catering staff rather than self-serve, and more. Masks are welcome, though not required. We want this celebration to be comfortable and enjoyable for all our guests! Can't wait to see you there!
She was an Alpha Xi Delta, he was a Sigma Nu. We met at a college football game, GO DAWGS! We became fast friends as we bonded over our mutual love for fun, UW, and musicals. While the romance did not begin right away, there was no surprise we got together when the time was right!
The summer before Madeline's senior year at UW, we started spending more time together. It didn't take long for sparks to fly!
Madeline likes to plan. She knew this day was coming and suspected it when Josiah made a nice dinner reservation a few weeks after talking about rings. Josiah did a great job of having her fooled all day. Madeline was whisked away by friends for the afternoon and picked up for dinner in Scottsdale. The date night was wonderful and romantic! Dinner came to an end and still no proposal. Madeline was shocked, until she walked in the front door and saw a path of rose petals and candles leading to the back patio. There Josiah was, waiting for her with the ring. It was just like The Bachelor!
