Our Story
Jorge and I met in the summer of 2023. Our first date was dinner at Chuy's in Austin, and he showed up earlier than I did. According to me, I was doing so well at not nervous talking. According to him, I didn't stop talking the whole time! Oops! Since then, we've grilled amazing food, watched copious hours of WWE, traveled to multiple cities, told infinite jokes, experienced the Aggies lose, Astros win, and Cowboys lose. All of this led up to a major win in August of 2024, when on the way to dinner in College Station, Jorge took me to the front of campus for "pictures" before a nice dinner. Curious at the photographer pointing a lens at me, and Jorge's attempts to ask about random buildings off in the distance, it all made sense when he got down on one knee (with a perfect 90 degree angle) and asked me to marry him! We are so excited to start our lives together, with our dog Bruce, and all of the adventures we will continue to have together!
On our second date, Jorge introduced me to the wonderful world of WWE. We are both now huge fans, and watch every week together! We had the chance in April 2024 to go to Wrestlemania in Philadelphia.
Our first concert together was Thomas Rhett with Cole Swindell and Nate Smith. I bought the tickets months before I met Jorge with the hopes I would find someone to go with. I found the best person!
One of my favorite pictures from our engagement. It was Texas in August, so Jorge gets extra points for wearing the famous engagement coat!
The first day as an engaged couple was, of course, spent watching our favorite college team play Notre Dame! The Ags lost, but we won :)
As a Houston-born Texans fan, it pains me to wear the blue star. But that's part of marrying a huge Cowboys fan! I won't count on seeing him in Astros or Texans gear though - that may be too much to ask!
My sweet rescue puppy Bruce and Jorge are best friends. I may be replaced as his #1 human!
