The Maroon Bell mountains are located just 16 miles from Snowmass Village and have been named as the most photographed place in Colorado, providing the perfect spot to enjoy a scenic hike or just enjoy the view. The Maroon Bells are accessible via car or RFTA shuttle both of which require a reservation.
Madeline's favorite hike in Aspen. It's an intermediate-level hike and about 4 hours round trip, but the views during the hike and at the top are gorgeous!
This is quite possibly one of the most iconic hikes in the nation and certainly in the Aspen Snowmass area, this is a can’t miss hike. This hike takes you from the Maroon Bells visitors center area up to the actual base of the Maroon Bells at Crater Lake and is 3.45 miles long.
The Brush Creek Bike Path starts by the Snowmass Village Mall and runs parallel to Brush Creek Road. This paved trail has great views with a scenic setting by the creek and is 5.88 miles long.
