We had our first conversation about Firefly at the UD candlelight ceremony and were on the same freshman floor. Later, we discovered that we were right next to each other at multiple concerts before college, specifically AWOL Nation and Foo Fighters. We then joined the sailing team together and had the same friend group and calculus classes. We both graduated from UD in the spring of 2019, moved in together in March 2021, and settled on a house in February 2022. Jesse proposed on November 12, 2022, on the beach in Cape May.
