FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP at least 4 weeks before the wedding. If you need a little more time, feel free to reach out to us.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. The reception location will depend on the weather and temperature. Since the venue is on the bay, there should be a nice breeze, and hand fans will be provided.

Answer

Formal or elevated cocktail attire, please.

Question

Is the wedding kid-friendly?

Answer

We kindly ask that no children attend, with the exception of newborns who cannot be left at home.

Question

Are there accommodations or hotel room blocks available?

Answer

Yes! Please visit the Travel tab for details on hotel blocks and discounts. If you have additional questions, feel free to reach out to us.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the venue offers both self-parking and valet parking for your convenience.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will be available from both hotel block locations: Grand Traverse Resort & Spa and Residence Inn by Marriott. • Before the ceremony: The shuttle will run two trips between 3:30–5:00 PM, with the final drop-off at 5:15 PM. • Please plan to arrive by 5:15 PM. If you arrive early, there will be indoor and outdoor bars with plenty of seating to enjoy a drink before the ceremony. • After the reception: The shuttle will make three return trips to the hotels between 8:15–11:15 PM. • The reception will conclude at 11:00 PM.

Question

Are photos allowed during the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony—no phones or photos, please. Feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like during the reception! We’ll have a QR code available for you to share your photos with us—we can’t wait to see them!

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. We will work with the venue’s catering team to ensure you have a meal that suits your needs.

Question

Are plus-ones allowed?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate who is invited. If your invite includes “and guest,” you are welcome to bring a plus-one.
