Our downtown is packed with great restaurants, cute coffee shops, fun bars, and local shops! Some recommendations are: Rose Establishment for coffee, Caputos for lunch, Franklin Ave for dinner or brunch, and Under Current for cocktails.
Downtown Farmers' Market
We love going to the farmers market on Saturday mornings. You can find beautiful fresh produce, baked goods, locally made goods, and more! It's a great place to experience the city as a local. Might be a fun stop the morning after the wedding!
Natural History Museum of Utah
Great place for both adults and kids to learn more about Utah. As a bonus, the panoramic views of Salt Lake City are pretty unmatched!
Red Butte Garden
Beautiful and expansive botanical gardens located right next to the Natural History Museum. It will be beautiful in June! Red Butte is also home to our favorite outdoor concert series over the summer!
Explore 9th & 9th
For a fun taste of local dining and shopping, you'll find the eclectic 9th and 9th neighborhood just two blocks east of Liberty Park. The area gets its name from the intersection of 900 South and 900 East, and is home to a number of our local favorites, including Salt & Honey Market, East Liberty Tap House, and a can't-miss 23-foot tall rainbow-hued humpback whale statue. :)
