Our ceremony will take place at St. Francis Xavier Church, followed by a reception at The Higgins Hotel New Orleans.
Black-Tie Optional. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos or dark suits, and ladies are invited to wear formal evening gowns or elegant cocktail dresses. We kindly ask guests to refrain from wearing white or shades of white.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you have a plus one, their name will be included on your invitation. Full details will be provided when the formal invitations are sent out. Otherwise, we kindly ask that only the guests listed attend. We’re so excited to celebrate with you and share this special day!
While we adore your little ones, our wedding celebration will be adults-only, with the exception of children who are part of the wedding party. For guests traveling with children, we are currently exploring the possibility of arranging a supervised kids’ room with babysitters at The Higgins Hotel New Orleans during the reception. We are still finalizing those details and will update the website as more information becomes available.
Transportation will be provided from St. Francis Xavier Church to The Higgins Hotel New Orleans following the ceremony. For guests staying at the hotel, we are also planning to provide transportation from The Higgins Hotel New Orleans to St. Francis Xavier Church before the ceremony. These plans are still being finalized and will be updated on the website once confirmed.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at St. Francis Xavier Church.
Yes. Self-parking is available in the National WWII Museum Parking Garage, located just past the entrance to The Higgins Hotel New Orleans. Guests attending the reception will receive 25% off the hourly parking rate for the evening. For guests staying at the hotel, discounted overnight parking is available for $40 per night plus tax.
A room block has been reserved at The Higgins Hotel New Orleans at a discounted rate for our guests. The hotel also hosts our reception, providing a convenient location for the evening’s festivities. Our reception will be hosted in traditional New Orleans style, featuring open seating rather than assigned tables. There will be plenty of chairs and lounge areas available throughout the space. Guests will enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres followed by a variety of food stations available throughout the evening. We encourage you to grab a bite, mingle with friends and family, and join us on the dance floor as we celebrate together.
RSVPs are requested by October 15th. Formal invitations with RSVP instructions will be mailed closer to the wedding date.
New Orleans is full of incredible food, music, and culture. We will be sharing some of our favorite restaurants, bars, and things to do around the city on the Travel section of our website soon.
