FAQs

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

You have lots of options! You are more than welcome to stay at Camp Ranstrom. The property is 5 acres and there is plenty of space to pitch tents and/or sleep under the stars. There are also quite a few hotels, resorts, bed & breakfasts, and Airbnb places to rent in Bend, although the summer months can be busy so we recommend that you book sooner rather than later.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It is most important that you wear comfortable shoes. The wedding is in a big, grassy field and we want you to be able to frolick about and dance easily. Besides footwear, we recommend garden party attire or whatever makes you feel good!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The Ranstrom Family farm is situated on a mile-long loop. There is plenty of parking on both sides of Quail Haven Dr. on the shoulder of the road. Please be mindful of how you park your vehicle so that folks can snuggle in and don't have to walk too far to get to the party. Thank you!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Bend is usually sunny in July with daytime temperatures between 80 and 90 Fahrenheit, however, it can get quite chilly in the evening (lower 50s) so bring a jacket or a sweater!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The earlier the better, but please be sure to RSVP no later than June 1st.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! We tried to add everybody to the list but please contact Eric or Madeline if your date is not listed so we can properly account for everybody.

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

Yes! We will have lots of space for kids to run around, as well as plenty of lawn games for the kid in all of us.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

To catch the ceremony, plan on arriving no later than 3:45 pm, but feel free to come earlier to hang out.

Question

Can I bring my furry friend?

Answer

We love your pups! However, due to the large number of folks attending the wedding and the (equally large) number of dogs that belong to those people, we are asking that you not bring your doggo this time.
