Everything started in Summer of 2021 when Elliott & I first saw one another at our job, The Fresh Market. He was in produce and I was a cashier. It started by catching each other’s eyes, him purposefully coming to my checkout line to purchase his lunch, and adding each other on social media. He finally asked me on a date to Taco Mama and to get ice cream after at Ozzie’s. After that date, we were inseparable. Not too long after, he went to start his sophomore year at Appalachian State University, while I stayed home to go to school. Through many years of FaceTime calls, football games, and going back and forth to see one another, our relationship only grew stronger. One of our favorite traditions was going to the Thunder Hill overlook on the parkway to do bible study every Sunday. Fast forward to March of 2026, he took me back to that same overlook and proposed. Life together is so much fun and is truly covered in the Lord’s goodness. We are so excited to receive this blessing of marriage, knowing He has been preparing us through the 5 years of being together. We can’t wait!
