Question

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests plan to be seated for the ceremony by 1:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00PM.

*NEW* Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is limited, so we encourage you to carpool or Uber/Lift. At the venue, there will be ushers to assist with parking along Log House Road and Log House Court. Please give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the driveway/entrance of the venue.

Is the wedding venue outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, in the backyard of Madeline's childhood home. The reception will take place outdoors--under a tent--. The temperature is expected to be mild (mid-70s) and can get chilly as the sun sets, so please dress accordingly.

Will the ceremony be on grass?

Answer

The venue is fully on grass with the exception of the dance floor. Please wear appropriate shoes to walk in grass (flats or chunky heels are highly recommended). Please allow yourself a few extra minutes on arrival to walk through the grass to the pergola.

What is the rain plan?

Answer

Rain or shine, our ceremony will go on! If the weather hints of rain, please bring your umbrella as the wedding ceremony is out in the open. Feel free to wear your rainboots as well!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire (Suit & Tie; Knee-Length, Tea-Length, or Midi/Maxi Dress). We highly recommend chunky heels or flats for the ladies.

Will there be a DJ?

Answer

Yes! Bring your dancing shoes :)

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love all of our friend's and family's kiddos, but this is an adult ceremony and reception.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

Given the proximity of the hotels to the venue, there will not be a shuttle service from hotels to the venue. We recommend Uber or Lyft.

What else can we do while we are in Maryland for the wedding?

Answer
