Where should I stay?

Our Mass will happen in downtown La Crosse, WI, while our reception will be 30 minutes across the river in Caledonia, MN. On Sunday, for those who stay around, we would love for everyone to join us at the Cathedral 10am Mass. We recommend staying in La Crosse but there are many surrounding towns you could also stay in. Options galore! There are lots of hotels and Airbnb's in La Crosse, WI - many within walking distance to the Cathedral. If you want to stay closer to where the reception is happening, there are some Airbnb's in Caledonia, Hokah, and Brownsville (all in MN and all beautiful, country-land areas). La Crescent, MN is another option, a town that is in between La Crosse and Caledonia. There are both Airbnb's and hotels in La Crescent. For hotels in downtown La Crosse, the Hampton, Fairfield, and Raddison currently all have rooms available. Hotels in the month of October get booked quickly here, so we encourage you to book ASAP!

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The MSP airport is your best option, 2.5 hours away from La Crosse. Smaller, regional airports nearby include Madison, WI (2 hours), Rochester, MN (1 hour), and La Crosse, WI. There is also the Milwaukee and Chicago airports, both around 3-4 hours away.
