How we met: Middle school....oh middle school. About Madison: Madison is hardworking, compassionate, and a wonderful friend. Madeline can always count on Madison to have her back. Why she's a bridesmaid: Madison is Madeline's best friend of over 10 years and have gone through every high and low you could imagine. Even when life pulled them apart, they found their ways back to each other. Madeline cannot imagine having anyone else by her side on her wedding day.
Ethan
Best Man
Where we met: Through marriage. About Ethan: Ethan is hardworking, loyal, and spontaneous. Why he's the best man: Derek and Ethan share a love for many things, but first and foremost, they love each other. Ethan and Derek are always there to help each other out, and are always planning their next adventures together. The two are similar in so many ways and have shared so much of life together that Derek could not imagine having anyone else standing next to him on his wedding day. Plus, who wouldn't want a Legolas look alike in their wedding photos?!

How we met: Birth! Emilee is Madeline's cousin. About Emilee: Emilee is adventurous, determined, and goal-oriented. Why she's a bridesmaid: Madeline and Emilee have grown close as they have gotten older, and they are very similar. Madeline wants her cousin standing up with her on her wedding day!

Where we met: Freshman year of high school. About Alex: Alex is charitable, kind, and adventurous Why he's a groomsman: Derek and Alex have been best friends since high school. From fishing trips, to hunting trips, to Duck games, these two have grown up together and have always been the best of friends. These two have always had each others backs through thick (literally towing each other out of mud, snow, etc.) and thin.

How we met: Club swimming at 7/8 years old! About Tayland: Tayland is spontaneous, adventurous, and genuine. Why she's a bridesmaid: Tayland and Madeline have been best friends since childhood. They have taken many adventures together throughout the years and Madeline wants start the adventure that is marriage with Tayland standing up with her.
Andrew
Groomsman
How we met: Dinner at the Hill's house. About Andrew: Andrew is funny, sarcastic, and a teddy bear. Why he's a groomsman: Derek met Andrew through Alex H. (they are brothers) and became friends very quickly. Andrew and Derek share a love of (again) fishing, hunting, and a good glass of whiskey. These two can sit for hours on end and talk about anything and everything and never get bored of each other.

How we met: High school About Taylor: Taylor is funny , compassionate, brilliant, and so determined. Why she's a bridesmaid: Madeline and Taylor were inseparable in high school. Their teachers knew them as a duo rather than individuals. Even with distance between them, Madeline and Taylor have remained close and encourage each other to keep moving forward.

Where we met: High school. About Alex: Alex is knowledgeable, caring, and dependable. Why he's a groomsman: Alex and Derek began hanging out after they were both out of high school when mutual friends brought them together. The two share a love of camping, movies, and cars. Derek and Alex have been to ALMOST every midnight showing of all the Marvel movies together over the last decade!
Amanda
Bridesmaid
How we met: Work. About Amanda: Amanda is honest, genuine, and will be the first person to give tough love when you need it. Why she's a bridesmaid: Madeline and Amanda became fast friends when Madeline started working at the hospital. Amanda and Madeline love to be a little mischievous (for the greater good of course), and love to drink wine and each charcuterie together on sunny summer days.
Nathan
Groomsman
Where we met: High school About Nathan: Nathan is hardworking, adventurous, and a little bit crazy. Why he's a groomsman: Derek and Nathan can sit around and talk about almost anything (mostly guns, gun parts, etc.) for hours on end. Nathan and Derek have been on many adventures together, from duck games, to camping, to bar hopping in their younger years.
Lilly
Flower Girl
Lilly is our adorable flower girl. Lilly is Derek's niece. Lilly is spunky, brilliant, and very sweet. Madeline and Lilly took to each other naturally when they met. Derek and Madeline wanted their favorite little girl to walk down the isle with them.
Kaden
Ring Bearer
Kaden is Alex H's son and our sweet little ring bearer. Derek has known Kaden since birth and has been teaching Kaden how to be a trouble maker ever since.
David Hill
Officiant
Derek met David through Alex H (David is Alex's dad). Madeline met David at Sabai on a windy day where David decided to make a grand entrance and pretend he was battling the wind. David (and his wife Della) immediately made Madeline feel like family, as Derek was basically already family. David is the most charitable, kind hearted, and hardworking person that we have ever met. He knows how to throw an amazing party, and host a killer tailgate. Because of our close relationship with David, we asked him to marry us, as it would mean so much to have someone we love, and who loves us equally, marry us on our wedding day.
